Join the Impactful Principals Network!

Calling All School Principals!
This is a defining moment in education. With the expiration of federal relief funds, mounting culture wars, anti-DEI pressures, and the lasting impact of the COVID-19 era, school leaders are navigating a storm of complexity. At the very center of these intersecting challenges stand our principals—charged with making critical decisions every day that impact school culture, student outcomes, and staff wellbeing. Now, more than ever, they need connection. They need coaching. They need community. That’s why we’re launching the “Impactful Leader“ Regional Principals Network—a powerful opportunity for principals to grow, reflect, and lead with clarity and courage.
Purpose: To build capacity of educational leaders, specifically K-12 School Site Principals, through a unique and safe collaborative networking space for learning, collaboration, and planning around impactful site leadership practices that yield optimal student outcomes.

Outcomes:
  • Be empowered with tools to effectively lead during a time of challenge and change in the educational landscape
  • Understand a systems approach to addressing persistent achievement gaps for target student groups
  • Develop a vision and impact action plan through strong leadership and facilitation skills
  • Build emotional intelligence and self care techniques to become a rested and impactful leader
  • Share best practices through collaborative consultancy protocols with Principals from other districts
  • Learn data-driven strategies to identify and support student needs through the “curb cut” lens
  • Learn from expert facilitators and guest presenters (practitioners and researchers.)
Testimonials

  • "Sonjhia was great! This will help me work on my administrative project. Love the research that was included."
  • "KT, you and your team do an amazing job of marrying engagement with information (helping us figure things out with open ended conversations."
  • "I loved today's observations. Listening to Mrs. Nicole, I see things in different ways as a parent. I can implement some of these learning styles when helping my kids, maybe allowing them to voice how they want to learn things and allowing them to more expressive"
  • "Well organized and structured; good use of time"
  • "Facilitator was respectful and allowed us all to express ourselves"
  • "Love how you are able to have the students involved"
  • " I appreciate the equity presentation that prefaces the equity walk. It keeps us grounded before we walk to the classrooms. The follow up and clarification during the presentations are beneficial"
  • "The guiding questions were helpful in challenging our thinking. It was wonderful how you came full circle and brought the conversation back to the students at the end."

Testimonials
Margaret Lavin-Principal, Cambrian School District:
  • “Nicole has significantly influenced my leadership approach, shifting my focus from a transactional style to a more transformational one. Her guidance has reshaped my mindset, leading to meaningful changes in how I lead—and, in turn, inspiring my staff. Together, we are now more united and intentional in our efforts to close the equity gap.”

Fort Bragg Usd Principals: and Teachers:
  • "Extremely excited about the site and individual work!"
  • "Nicole is down to earth, yet challenges us to think of new perspectives and apply this learning to our practice"

Palm Springs Usd Principals:
  • "I have learned there is a lot of work to do. I have learned to look for the following indicators: cultural identity, relationships, relevance, and rigor. I have also learned that I want to do the star activity."
  • The four areas in the tool are a great framework for the conversations. Equity work amongst adults is as important as in the context of kids in the classroom. The human part and relationships are key to getting to rigor."
